Scholarship Application

Each year the AzPANA Board of Directors allocates money for scholarships to assist AzPANA members in attending educational seminars, ASPAN National Conference, ICPAN International Conference, Nursing Education Programs, Medical Missions, or in becoming Certified or Recertified. Many times the scholarship money goes unused simply because no one applies for it.

Those considering applying for a scholarship must be a member of AzPANA for the past 2 years consecutively (5 years if retired). The number of points required depends on the type of scholarship which range from 4 points to 10 points. Members can easily earn points by attending an AzPANA Conference, donating a raffle item for a conference, writing an article for the website or volunteering to serve on the AzPANA Board or committees or on ASPAN committees .

The 2024 ASPAN National Conference will be held April 14-18, 2024 in Orlando, Florida. If you are planning on attending remember that AzPANA offers scholarship assistance for members to attend. The deadline for this scholarship is 1/31/2024. The application for this can be downloaded from this page.

The AzPANA Board is committed to assisting the membership towards achieving educational and certification goals. The application form is available on the AzPANA website as well as from any board member or from the scholarship chairperson. Scholarships should be submitted to the scholarship chairperson at the email address or postal address listed on the application form. The money is available to assist you; you need only apply for it and is based on a point system. Please feel free to contact me if you have questions.

CPAN/CAPA Certification/Recertification/Retirement Certification
AzPANA or ASPAN sponsored professional education programs
Continued education related to the pursuit of an advanced degree e.g.,RN- BSN, MSN, Advanced Practice, Doctoral Degree
Funding as an AzPANA delegate to an ASPAN National Conference/ASPAN events/ICPAN
Funding for medical missions
